How to wear and care for the stockings

Wearing: It is best to put on compression stockings first thing in the morning, when your legs are least swollen. Turn the stocking inside out down to the heel. Place your toes in and pull the stocking over your foot and heel before sliding it up your leg. For easier application, talcum powder or latex gloves can be used.
Removing: To take them off, pull the top of the sock down and roll it down over itself until you can pull it over your heel and off your foot.
Washing: Hand washing is recommended to preserve elasticity and durability. Use a mild detergent and cool or lukewarm water. Avoid using fabric softeners or bleach, and air dry the stockings away from direct sunlight or heat.
When to wear: For maximum benefit, wear the stockings throughout the day and remove them at night, unless a doctor advises otherwise.
